Proverbs 4:23

  • Guarding our heart is more important than anything else we do
  • Our physical heart determines how & what our body can or cannot do
  • Likewise our spiritual heart determines what we will or can do spiritually & eternally 

The Significance of the Heart

  • 'Heart' is used in Scripture as the most comprehensive term for the authentic person.


  • We are what our heart is.
