ADVENT is the four Sundays leading up to Christmas Day. Each week we read a passage from the Bible that tells a part of the Christmas Story, and then light one more candle. On Christmas Eve, the last candle - representing Jesus - is lit. The celebration of Advent begins 1 December 2024.
