After earning an undergraduate Business degree from Wake Forest University in 2000, Ryan spent many years in the private sector – mainly in the areas of sales, management, and executive leadership – before recognizing God’s calling of him into formal ministry. He graduated from Liberty University with a Masters of Divinity (MDiv) in 2020, although he began preaching and pastoring full-time in Virginia in 2019. Pastor Ryan relishes remembering the faithfulness and provision of God throughout his life and has a passion for preaching and teaching God’s Word in ways that draw others closer to Christ. He loves Jesus, believes the Bible is God’s amazing and effective Word, and boldly proclaims the gospel as God’s power to salvation! 

While Pastor Ryan takes his calling as a shepherd of God’s flock here at Crossroads very seriously, he tries not to take himself too seriously…and he maintains that the Christian life should reflect holy joyfulness! He is a self-described theology nerd and book geek, and he loves bringing the original context of a passage to light to help reveal the richness and depth of God’s Word to us. Ryan believes that the more people see God’s character and work the more they will fall in love with Jesus, and the more they fall in love with Jesus the more they will boldly proclaim Him and His gospel to a hurting world!

Our pastor is joined at Crossroads by his amazing wife Audrey and their two beautiful daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle (a Triumph Storm), hiking, camping, and grilling, and has also recently taken up pickle ball here in Montana. He’s always up for a good conversation over a cup of coffee. We hope you’ll come by soon and meet Pastor Ryan and his family here at Crossroads Memorial Church!

Steve Bell has led worship at Crossroads for over 20 years.

Carla Bell has been a member of Crossroads for over 20 years. For most of that time she has served as the administrative assistant. Other hats she wears are Pianist and Tech/Web Gal. Carla is married to her husband, Steve, and they have three sons.
